- If you’re a freelancer and you’re getting enough work that you have to start turning away work, you have two options. You can turn the work away, or you can decide to scale up and build a team to accommodate that work.
- If you’re looking for ideas for content, go online and find communities (such as Facebook groups, Reddit, etc.) where your ideal clients hang out. Read the forums and questions, and notice any trends or questions that people ask again and again. Chances are, those questions would make for great articles that would really help your ideal client.
- Don’t trust yourself to come up with really good product ideas. Instead, start audience first: focus on building up a group of people that can learn (and want to learn) something free from you, and then upsell them on learning something from you on a paid basis.
